Hi,

I am also getting Error no. 8. w2w worked perfectly for a long time, but it has been acting strangely for the past few months. at first, it used to crash (take an eternity to upload, and never finish). Then as of yesterday another problem started.

The home page of my website was being redirected to a longer address, and the new uploads of w2w wouldn't apply to that longer address. for example instead of going to:

http://www.xy.com/home.html

it would redirect me to:

http://www.xy.com/x-y/home.html

and when I clicked on my other links I would always get that extra x-y in the address.

all my new uploads would apply to http://www.xy.com/home.html but not to http://www.xy.com/x-y/home.html

I downloaded the new version today (0.98), but nothing changed. I thought something must be wrong with my index.html, or home.html files, so in a moment of fury, I went to my host website, and deleted all the files in my public-html folder. then went back to iweb, made minor changes to every single page, and uploaded with w2w again, hoping for a fresh start. But my website won't load up at all (and it still gets redirected to that longer address).

Then I decided to remove my website from w2w, and reinsert it... Then I got Curl error no. 8.

I read your post to someone above, that you said it may be because of a wrong password. So I reinserted my password, and have hit upload again, and now it has been uploading for the past hour (it is not that big of a website and should not take more than 10 mins max to upload).

Any idea what I should do?
