Beta-testers wanted
I have made a new version of w2w that should solve the cURL error #5. Before I release it I would like to have it tested, so if you have seen the problem and would like to help me, please let me know in the comments or in an email./Fredrik

Re: Beta-testers wanted
I'd love to try this for my mother who has taken on the project of tending to my nieces high school golf club website.
Thanks!

Re: Beta-testers wanted
I upload to 1&1 in germany.
My problem was, that the "blog" parts get unavailable when I update the site with W2W. The only Prog that works by now, is Filezilla, but I have to upload the whole site each time I want to update easily.

Re: Beta-testers wanted
Hi. Your little app works a treat... but it doesn't always look as though it's working. Using it under 10.5 with a straight FTP to fasthosts.co.uk's webservers. It publishes, but doesn't tell you that it's doing anything. Any chance of adding an "in progress" indicator or a log window?

Re: Beta-testers wanted
I'd be interested in beta testing for you. This app worked great for my class's poem of the day podcast (94 podcasts last year!) But this year, I went to start again and encountered the "curl returned error number 5" message.

Re: Beta-testers wanted
Just uploaded a site to godaddy with w2w successfully, but since the initial upload, attempts to upload a new version with corrections repeatedly return curl error 67. Any hints?

Hi!
Curl error 67 indicates that cUrl couldn't login to the server, it could be wise to check the username and password again. If the error persists, please let me know.

Fredrik

Re: Beta-testers wanted
Hi!
Error 25 means that the program failed to upload a file, the server refused to store it. If you turn on debugging by writing the following in the terminal (quit w2w first):
That should produce a file in your Logs-directory (could be found if you browse to your home directory -> Library -> Logs) called w2w.log. If you send me that file I could try to see what's wrong, or you could open it up yourself (a double click will open it in Console.app).
Best regards,
Fredrik

Re: Curl return error 25
From the information I have, I would say that the problem is a non-standard character in the file-name of that blog-article, namely the colon in the end. Try to remove that and call the article only "The intimate act of collecting art" and it will probably go better. Generally it's good to avoid anything but alphanumericals dashes and underscores.

Re: Beta-testers wanted
Hi!
It's difficult to say without the logfile. Can you log on and go to the directory using a regular ftp-program (like Cyberduck)?
If you could turn on debugging (remember to close w2w and restart it after the terminal commands) and send me the logfile I could look at it.

I've checked the username and password several times, but i repeatedly get the message, "curl returned error 67." I've seen that this question has been asked before, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I don't have many more suggestions. If you turn on debugging and send me the log file I can look at it.

Re: Beta-testers wanted
w2w 0.98 should solve that problem and can be found on this web site. (And on the major download sites). If you still get the error after upgrading, please post again.

Re: Beta-testers wanted
Curl error 67 means that the server denied the login. If it doesn't go away it would be good to try to login using a regular ftp-client (like Cyberduck) and see if that works or if you get a clue of what has changed.
Kind regards,
Fredrik
